I still remember the feeling... Some days ago, in a wonderful day full of sun, I was invaded by a complete sensation of joy while painting. I already had had a similar sensation so many times before... but not exactly that same sensation. All painters know this experience, which could be described as "flowing" or "fluency". The artist in this special situation forgets time, difficulties, struggles, even the ego dissolves in some way. All that one feels in those priviliged moments is a sense of happiness doing what one loves.

What a great experience! I will always remember that day. I forgot myself while hands, spatulas, colours... were dancing, dancing. I felt immersed in an ocean of RHYTHM and BEAUTY.

The specific results of such experience were satisfying as well. The canvas reflected a dance of joy and equilibrium. But above all I am aware of the fact that the really important thing was the experience itself.
